About the Plant: Bay Laurel or Laurel Leaf Essential Oil is well-regarded in aromatherapy due to its unique molecular structure. It contains elements of nearly all of the primary chemical groups which make up essential oils. The result is a broad range of therapeutic uses. This oil is also known for its antibiotic properties. That means that it inhibits any sort of biotic growth (growth of microbes, bacteria, or fungi) in the body, effectively safeguarding you against those infections. This oil can also be used as an antibiotic. It is completely safe and has no adverse side effects (unless used in very heavy doses), unlike the antibiotic medicines available in the market that heavily impact the liver, heart, and other internal organs.

Physical: Traditionally, Laurel Essential Oil has been used in aromatherapy for promoting a healthy lymphatic system and draining of toxins from the body.

It’s great for children with adenoids, tonsillitis and for adults and children who have a poor appetite. It eases a very runny tummy. Wonderful for menopausal and perimenopausal women. It helps with hormonal mood swings. Don’t use during pregnancy. 

To get the circulatory system going rub some oil (mixed with a carrier) under armpits, behind knees and under chin. Keep for 15 mins and then go for a hot shower.

 It can be used for any kind of cramps. A muscle that is cramping and respiratory cramps that can make a person breathless. Stomach cramps during food poisoning and menstrual cramps.

Laurel Essential Oil is excellent for cervical cancer

 The Bay Laurel Essential Oil has analgesic and astringent properties, each of which helps provide relief from the pain of Neuralgia in its own way.

 Being an analgesic, it reduces the feeling of pain in the affected area. Then, as an astringent, it induces contraction in the blood vessels, thus relieving the pressure on the cranial nerve, giving immediate relief from the pain.

 In many ways it has the amazing abilities of helichrysium and also the numbing abilities like clove.

In ancient Greece and Rome, crowns were made out of Bay Leaves to honor scholars, warriors, and sportsmen. This tradition is where the name "Poet Laureate" comes from. Baccalaureate, or bachelor’s degree, also comes from this. 

Tips :

 Put 4 drops of Laurel Essential Oil in your bucket of bath water every day for a week (not more than a week), then inhale it from the bottle or through a diffuser every night for a week.

It’s a complete lymphatic system cleanser. The tonsils, adenoids, spleen and thymus are all part of the lymphatic system. 

INSTRUCTIONS : Always use essential oils with carrier oils when applying on the body. Mix in 2-3 drops of essential oil with 15 drops of carrier oil. Keep away from direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dark place.

PURE ESSENTAL OILS CAN CAUSE REDNESS, BURNING, IRRITATION TO SENSITIVE SKINS. PLEASE PATCH TEST ON ELBOW, WAIT FOR 30 MINUTES, THEN APPLY. IF IT CAUSES REDNESS, WASH WITH SOAP AND WATER IMMEDIATELY AND DILUTE THE OIL FURTHER IN APRICOT/ALMOND CARRIER OIL.
